Renee, looking at these photos has made me ask the familiar question..."where has the time gone?". Life and all of its moments creep up and before you know it, those moments have crept away. Photos are great displays of the frailty of our temporary yet glorious journey (yes, glorious, even with pain and suffering). I have been looking through photo albums, many filled with you as a baby and on occasion pinch myself to make sure it is not a dream, that maybe, just maybe I will wake up to find myself still able to hold you as my small child. Well the pinch not only confirms that I am not dreaming, it confirms that I am five minutes away from the sixth age of "All the world's a stage". I love observing the way with which you love and care for your family (you too David :))...I can almost hear God say....see Linda...this is how it is done. As we were not a Christian family in your formative years, God has restored all that I lost by giving me the wonderful opportunity and blessing of being able to watch you raise your family in a way that honors Him, teaching your little boys to love God with all their hearts. This has been such a blessing to me, giving me a close up look at God's way versus not God's way. Although you believe God used me to lead you to Him, most importantly He has used YOU and YOUR family to strengthen my relationship with Him. As I will most likely have made my exit from the stage, I can only imagine the ways in which He will use your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. God has left His fingerprints on your family and it is a brand new thread being woven into His grand design. I most likely wont see the end result but am overwhelmed with gratitude to see the beginning. xxoo
