Chemo is on
Isaiah was able to start chemo on Thursday. We were there all day (left at 6:30am, got home at 5:30pm).
Isaiah did very well and met a new friend. I was happy to see him socializing. He has been very shy around other children lately. Annabelle is 6 months older than Isaiah and also has A.L.L. She is 9 days ahead of Isaiah in her treatment schedule. She was there to get a blood transfusion. Isaiah is expected to feel very sick by the end of next week. He may need a couple of blood transfusions as well. Cytarabine is supposed to really tank the counts.
He had Cyclophosphamide yesterday and will take an oral tablet called Thioguanine until September 26th.
It will be busy until the end of the month. We were at the hospital again today and will be there tomorrow and Sunday as well. The same thing will repeat next week (Thursday to Sunday).

Delayed again
Isaiah's ANC counts are still too low so he never had chemo today. We will have his blood checked again tomorrow and then hopefully start the second half of phase 4 on Thursday. This is the longest he has gone without chemotherapy. It has been a nice break.

Old videos in April
I was looking through some old videos when Isaiah was first diagnosed in April. He's grown up so much!

Delayed one week
Isaiah is doing very well and has good energy, however, his ANC was too low yesterday so he was not able to start the second half of phase 4. He will have his blood checked again on Monday to see if we can start chemo on Tuesday.
We are doing well and enjoying the sunshine :)

Skype call with Micah
Isaiah's friend Micah cut his hair again. Thank you Micah! You are too sweet!
Isaiah was excited to hear that Micah wanted to call Isaiah on Skype. Isaiah enjoyed the visit, especially story time with Micah's family. Thank you so much guys! You have been a big source of encouragement to us.

Great sermon
"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world" C.S. Lewis
Great sermon about suffering at our church:

God is so deeply concerned with our long term joy.
